Cusco – Moray – Maras Salt Mines – Cusco
We pick you up from your Hotel at 8:30 am. Travel from Cusco and pass through lush yellow fields of barley and sleepy little villages as well as the snow peak of the Peruvian Andes on the way to Moray.
Once we arrive, our guide will be explaining about the wisdom of the Incas in their mysterious circular terraces. Then we continue to the nearby of colonial town of Maras to explore its history as a center for pink salt production.
From here drop down to Salinas to admire the unique quilt work of over 3,000 salt pools spilling into the Urubamba river valley. Finish the day back in Cusco at around 3:00 pm.
